Allen Jones, an MCSE+I, MCT, and CCNA, is a chief architect for Sprint Network Services in Houston. He has more than 17 years of experience in distributed systems and security. His most recent book is Windows Client Administration 24seven (Sybex).
Stephen Downes, a freelance consultant, is currently the technical project manager for the integration of two large-scale back office environments for a UK-based mobile telecommunications company. He has worked for a variety of clients in the enterprise networking arena for the past 10 years as a technical consultant, team leader, and project manager in the UK and Australasia. Stephen attained his MCSE in 1997 and is currently completing a master's degree in Enterprise Network Management at Sheffield Hallam University.
Archie Reed, MCSE, is a Systems Consultant for a wide array of industry clients. Currently working at Critical Path, he is focused on Directory Services (including Meta-Directory), PKI, Hosted Messaging (including Exchange 2000) and various backend services. He is an active speaker at Windows Technical Conferences, Analyst Conferences, and at meetings of the Electronic Messaging Industry Association. He has published numerous articles on Directory Services, security, Exchange, and Windows NT. His most recent book is Implementing Directory Services (McGraw-Hill).
Richard Waymire is the Enterprise Program Manager in the Microsoft SQL Server team. He has worked with Microsoft SQL Server since 1994, and on NT 3.51, 4.0, and Windows 2000. He has also been a trainer on a wide variety of Microsoft technologies, including Windows 95, Microsoft Exchange Server, SMS, Proxy Server, IIS, as well as Visual Interdev and Visual Basic. Before his entry into the world of Microsoft technologies, Richard was a database administrator for DB2 on MVS and Teradata databases at several different companies.
